Paul, Jane and the team at The Malt Shovel Inn would like to welcome you to your local and tell you what's happening on a regular basis.

Every day from 10am you can meet, chat and relax in our coffee lounge, with freshly brewed speciality coffee, a variety of teas and probably the best homemade, freshly baked cakes this side of Paris! Croissants and teacakes, fresh scones with clotted cream, so if you are meeting with friends, returning from a good walk or here on business, treat yourself and let us take care of you.

Take away fish and chips, the ultimate in fish supper whatever day of the week! Come and try our fresh fish soaked in homemade beer batter, served with hand cut thick chips, mushy peas and The Malt Shovel's own tartare sauce, cooked fresh to order and wrapped to perfection, just give us a call and we'll have it ready for you.

Fancy something light, a snack or a nibble with friends? Come and try our Grazing Menu, served Monday to Friday 12.00 - 2.30pm & 5.30 - 7.00pm, Saturdays 12.00 - 7.00pm.

And if that doesn't take your fancy, pop in and try our full menu, full of homemade dishes, cooked to perfection by our superb chefs, with daily specials to tantalise your tastebuds.
